Destructo Truck
« on: July 30, 2010, 06:11:45 PM »
Found this awesome free online flash game, you jump this big rig off a ramp and try to destroy as many buildings as possible, you earn money to use for upgrades, it's really addictive.

Yeah once you start it's hard to stop, right now my high total is around 9.5 million & I only have 9 achievements left, mostly the really hard ones, I've gotten around 16 miles & close to 800 mph, I have all the upgrades and I can't see how you can get that 2000 mph achievement.

My highest Smash Streak is around 130.

Managed to fly 48 miles or so with 12,715,000 damage, max height of .84 miles. That was hella fun  :D

Top score I've gotten was 15,275,000   :aok

Then again, I've had it tabbed for about three hours now  :o

How did you get it to go that far?

Also you know you don't need to keep it tabbed, it saves your money & upgrades for the next time you play, so you pick up where you left off.

Took me about 5 or 6 hours to work my way through all the upgrades.

I have no idea what my best jump was.
Moon Traveler, supersonic, astronaut, anti gravity were all fun achievements.

Some of the better achievements just are not possible until you get the user configurable ramp and powerfull rockets.

I was multitasking  :D

I had all the max upgrades, put the ramp angle at 45 degrees and let 'er rip. Traveled I think 10 miles without touching the ground, got lucky with the floating bombs and satellites I guess.

I liked the truck game much better than the tank one. The tank game has a screen that is a bit too restricted to my taste. It would be nicer to have a larger field of view.
