I love W.O.T but the need to fix the severs the lag is killing me. I get 60 70 ping I guess that`s not bad ,but the other guy jumps around it`s hard to make a good shot! :rock

That's not so much lag as it is the need for good predictive smoothing code. Those guys should buy the rights to use Dale's smoothing code. We've been looking at this for a while and discussing it elsewhere. Even with 40fps and 35-55ms, they still "teleport" if they move very far and or very fast, unless they're close.

teleporting has driven me nuts, if the auto aim would actually aim at the target and not 20 yards above i could live with it. if the final game still has teleporting i'll pass on it.

Got my key yesterday. I have spent an hour reading the forums and just spent 45 minutes trying to figure wth i'm doing in the garage. The forum is unhelpful and I'm bored rigid without getting into a game. I'm better off in AH

it's very simple, just get in the game and start shooting, i think F1 brings up the key layout.

I see the same lag when I'm running 40ping as I did with the 200 ping when on the euro server. There's a certain distance where the movers teleport. They are working on that they say.

Took me a bit of clicking to figure it out too.  Just click on the tank that you want to use for the first bit (specs on the right side of screen when you click on it) then at the top hit "Battle".  Once you have done some fights and earned Experience and money (shown in the top right in garage), you can research parts (click on the star next to the experience) and then once researched buy it in the Store.  Basics but it should get ya started if you haven't figured it out yet. :)

Played a couple of games finally. Graphically its pretty good. The gameplay sucks donut big time, tanks suddenly disappear as soon as you spot them, then spawn into existence usually 100 yards or so away and kill ya. You have to wait for 5 minutes or more at a time ( for me anyway) to get into a game. Play for a week or so to get another tank that is marginally less crappy? No thanks

I've been playing for about a month. I have in order of weight:- MS-1, Leopard, StuGIII, JagdPanzerIV, KV and a KV-3. Once you get going things happen pretty fast. The fully researched MS-1 is still one of my favorite tanks, its not a big credit or exp earner but I have the most fun in it.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

If it takes you more then a few hours to get to another tank you need to quit gaming of any kind.  :huh

There is a game mechanic reason for everything your talking about as well.
