FSO: A Mindanao Sunset - FR1 Preliminary Results
« on: August 07, 2010, 11:11:47 AM »
Gentlemen & Ladies,

Here are the preliminary frame 1 results. I have not finished looking for violations so this might change a bit but should give you a rough picture of the frame.

United States
0685 = Air Victories
0550 = Bombing from destroying enemy targets (36.9% enemy targets destroyed)
1094 = Defense, from undamaged parts of their bases

TOTAL = 2329

Japanese
875 = Air Victories
396 = Bombing from destroying enemy targets (26.4% enemy targets destroyed)
950= Defense, from undamaged parts of their bases

TOTAL = 2221

General Comments
Obviously the U.S. was much better at getting their bombs on target than the Japanese. They ended up sinking 2 CVs, 1 CA, and 3 DDs. Plus damaging 3 more CVs. However, there own bombing efforts were not as successful only lighting damaging the U.S. land bases over all and sinking the 1 CA of the U.S. naval force in the region (the U.S. DDs survived).

That said the Japanese definitely won the air way and inflicted greater losses on the U.S. forces as they pressed to their targets.

Overall it evened out to basically a tie with the U.S. being up by 108 points.
