Just grab a 262;
Get under said horde and taunt them a couple times;
Watch them being lured lower and away from horded base;
Get over said horde;
Blow up horde from above;
Rinse & repeat.
Best done with willing friendlies.

btw I was spyng, I'd never go bish... for some reason I kept accidentally running into their goon n their horde noe's weren't that successful.

Most hordes are only interested in one thing: kills.  Pork all the ammo/troops you want, it's not going to stop them or us.  Besides you guys notice it's only a horde when the other country do it?

According to wikipedia, you need Night Elf Hunters, Dwarf Warriors, Human Paladins and an assortment of Priests and Rogues to stop the Horde.

Anyone else remember when the bish and knits capped A139 (I think)? They were fighting over it for 2 hours and only stopped fighting each other when a bish con was in their imediate vicinity. Hell, I think I saw a 110 run dry in the middle of a burst, and then attempt to make kills using a gunner. All I know is he abruptly stoped firing at a D300 target, and then started turning circles over the field.

as far as defending the base itself.....small cannon airplane like a hurricane IIc that can turn circles around the 110's that are swarming around town are great.
You wont need the speed or the climb anyway. bailing and hiding in the town are effective.

But for the most part you gotta pork the base they just took,killing troops and ord....that will slow them down, at least untill the school kids have to go to bed.
