Anyone know how to clean the pots on a standard two-button CH stick? My old one is starting to go so I bought a new one, but it is twitchy in the vertical. I'd like to try to clean either one of them but I'm not sure how to open it up. Are there screws under the little pads at the bottom? The pads don't seem to want to come off and I don't want to force it if that's not the way.

I have a CH Combatstick. There are screws under the rubber pads. They will go back on. As for how to clean the pots, I dont know.

Koala I beleive CH pots are plugged in and not soldered.
The easist and best way would be to order
(they usually do send the stuff to you for free) news pots.
Play with the old.
Then you'll have a back up set of pots that can replace your newer ones when they get dirty.
As to what to use and how to clean them.
I use Cramolin for a lubricating/cleaning fluid on any electrical/electronic parts like pots or motor bushings that need cleaning. Applied with a Q-tip it is an outstanding liquid based cleaner.
My bottle of 3 oz I have had for almost 18 years and was a <cough> present from the USN.
So not sure where it may be available it at all now.
I personally hate the THC aerosol based cleaners.
