Whenever I download to the skins directory from these posts, when I go into the MA, those skin selections still show red in the hanger. I still have to allow the auto download to happen while in the MA to get them to show up even though that file is sitting in my skins directory. Is there some file I need to delete so the game on startup does an inventory to make them available in the MA?
bustr, you only need the "skins.res" file from the server before any new skin releases to be useable online. That file should come down pretty quick after you log into the game. That file contains the information about what skins can be used online.
Also, make sure you are putting them in the correct folder. There is also a chance the file(s) may not be copying as binary files as most browsers do not know what they are. If that is the case you are pretty much stuck.
You can try downloading the "skins.res" file directly.
