Hyperactive mouse
« on: September 10, 2010, 01:56:29 PM »
I use a trackball on my home pc and it generally acts normally right up until I start AH then it turns into mr super speedy which is a real pain when trying to be precise on the clipboard or setting convergence.  I spent 30 minutes last night fooling around with damping and such with no noticeable effect.  Any ideas?

Try this, in Controls, map controllers, select the mouse, then highlight the first axis, click advanced, at the bottom of the advanced window should be a mouse sensitivity slider. Might have to do it for both axis's.

Do you have a x52? If so go to stick settings. Could be the mouse on the x52 throttle interfering with your trackball.

I've had the same problem in the AH test version and when it finally went live.  No idea why it does it as the mouse works normal in everyting else outside of AH but in AH it's on hyper speed.  I can regain some control if I lower my DPI settings on my mouse to 1000 which slows it down enough that I can actually see the cursor when it moves in AH instead of this really fast blurry thing if I don't lower the DPI settings.
