You should fly all three countries and get a feel for the flow.
Also fly with some reputable squads too. What I mean by that is squads that have been around for a bit and know what their doing. Don't get suckered in for at least 3 months to any country or squad. Otherwise you may hate to even log on. Good luck on your search.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

who has the best bomber sqaudron?

Actually I didn't know that AH was on the market for sale.  Just how much are you thinking of laying out for AHII?   :devil

come to the Bish. the 91st and the dickweeds always set up great bomb runs. the 582nd tries to escort them as much as possible. both squads are great groups. you can choose which to join. I actually don't know if they are recruiting right now but ik they wont mind me putting their name out there :aok

Actually since this guy has been here over a year in the BBS forums and has been advised that his mega post of asking this and that would be better suited for the help and training forum and he ignores it, I'd wanna see him go rook. heheheh

Try all 3..  Make it fit your definition of 'fun'.

Try all arenas....

try all 3. go i the midwar where you're more likely to find a fight with lesser numbers so you can work on your SA and ACM. Prepare to die alot as long as you're a loner and a learner!

Just go with the lowest numbers side..be a gun for hire .... this way you never have to worry about ENY...get to fly cheap perk rides

I would trust someone who plays with that mentality (chronic side-hoppers) by roughly .009% of the distance that I could physically throw them.

Fly with all sides and then pick one and be loyal.

Don't go join the first squad you have the opportunity too.  A lot of squads don't mind someone flying with them (if you ask) so there is no need to join right away.

I'd advise to just lay back and go with the flow of a squad you are flying with at that time.  Playing 100 questions, and "I think we should" is a quick way to become unwelcome on someone's channel.

I side-hop a lot...to find fights.  Whatever country I'm on, that's who I'm loyal to until I go elsewhere.  I don't bring any baggage or intel from the country I was just flying for.  It's not that hard a thing to do, and I've never been accused of foul play - because I conduct myself in such a manner that nobody has ever questioned my integrity.

Went to EW last night.  9 nits and nobody else - they were all attacking rook so I switched to rook.  Had a helluva fun time and eventually others came in and evened things up and for a couple of hours everyone was fighting and [presumably] having fun.

So, yes; by all means switch sides if it means meeting more people and having more fun.  Let your actions and attitude speak for you when the fanatical chesspiece-loyalists give you a hard time about it.

Fly with all sides

and you will realize that they are all the same - it depends upon who's on, and at times which of the larger squads are up - as to what the "mood" of that side will be at any given time.

And has been said, once you're on a side, decency dictates that when you change to another side, you autoforget anything you knew from the other side.  In fact, one of the better suggestions I've seen is to play against the 3rd side for a while after you change if you possibly can.

If I didn't fly all three countries on occasion (or sometimes in one night :)) I would probably have only one third of the friends in game that I currently enjoy and as a result probably only about 1/3rd the fun.

Absolutely nothing wrong with changing countries, like everything else there's just a right and a wrong way and reason to do it.
