Rudders USB, Pro,Elite which is the best choice
« on: June 11, 2000, 07:09:00 PM »
Ok I need some advice on which rudders to buy.  My current set up is with the Saitek X36 USB. The USB pros pedals are the most expensive what benifit is there over the non usb? The reason I ask this is I have some left over gift certs fo online shopping and can either get the Pro pedals for about $35 or the USB version for $85.00. If I can save 50 bucks that would be great but I want the best product for the money.

For me under a desk , its the standard CH ones . I had me a set of simped pedals and sold them to HBlair , he loves them .

I hated having to swing back and forth but the cheap set u just push up and down . Lots easier at least to me   .

They still have to be setup separte though . Does anyone know if Saitek lets u hook up rudder direct ? Far as I know , not yet .

Having discovered USB I strongly recommend all USB products now. I have the Saitek x36 combo USB and used it with an old worn set of Thrustmaster analog pedals. After experiencing superior USB stick connections I had to have a new set of CH USB Pro Pedals.

Both will work fine on AH as it is programmed to accept either analog or usb pedals to work with USB sticks, but you'll have to set up the analog stick.

My vote is to spend the extra $50 and get the new technology not the old.
