I've been reading a lot of the video card posts and hear people talking about their FPS levels. I'd just like to get a feel for what others are getting. I average around 80 to 90 FPS and have seen as high as 147 with no one around. What do you guys get as far as FPS go?

I get high 50's to low 60's with low teens in heavy smoke at damaged airfields. This is with a GeForce 2 MX400 Nvidia card and an AMD 1.4 gig system with DDR 2100 266 RAM

What resolution is this at? I get an average of 39-40 FPS running AH at 1600x1200 with 32 bit color.

Gunthr with all that horsepower, why on earth are you still running AH at vga resolution?

800x600 is friggin lego!  :)

3500 in 3dmark2001 is not bad or good, pretty average for your display card. If you'd have a geforce3 you could expect almost double that figure. Your display card is too slow compared to what your CPU could handle - that's your bottleneck.

I get 60-85 fps @5k over A1 mind, my system is 1.56 AMD, geforce2 MX 200, 384Mb DDR (KG7) raid 0, SB live, dx 8.1, det 12.41.

With my lowly mx200 my 3dmark2001 score is 2570 pts. I know, I'm REALLY display card limited =)

LOL Mr. Rip yeah 800x600 is lego, I have a 19inch monitor, but I had been switching the res around while testing, and when I posted, that was the only set of numbers I could remember for sure...

Yup, I knew the GeForce would be my bottleneck. You know how it is with upgrading... always planning your next purchase    :p

Thanks for the link Montezuma, a more empirical way to do it.
