I have a question.  How do you know it works.  The reason I ask is I read your posts in this thread:

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,298067.0.html

The other comment I'd like to make is that is one hell of a mark up.  :D

cause i bench tested it on another machine. i don't buy used equipment without testing it first.  how you know anything in this classified section works?

why is it a mark up? TD just sold a regular GTX 260 for 115 and you had to pay for shipping with his.  this model has a faster clock and 24 more processors.  its fair market value.

I'd rather keep it to be honest but i would have to purchase a new case move everything over its just to much of a pain in the arse.

It is a markup.  You paid $40.00 for it.  If you sell it for your asking price, that's an $85.00 profit.  To put it another way that is a 68% margin. That is a killer profit margin.

If TD's evga is new, it will have a lifetime warranty. Yours has a limited lifetime warranty columbus. Its limited to no warranty for a lifetime. Sorry just sayin.
As for the mark up, people buy and sell stuff all the time.
Good Luck

^ BFG is getting out of the graphic card business. No matter which way you slice it there is no warranty.

You are correct people buy and resell stuff all the time, myself included. 68% is still a hell of a profit.

i mean the person could have ask me for 100.00 and i would have given it, he said he only wanted 40.00 and i tested and it worked so it was worth it to me. spending another 100.00 on a case was not in the picture and i dont think my 500 watt power supply would do it justice either . even though my total investment to get the card able to be keepale would have equaled the retail value of a new card. its not worth the hassle to me.

I did not sell mine yet.  But you are correct anything BFG has NO WARRANTY.  They are out of business as and no warranty's are being honored.

I did not sell mine yet.  But you are correct anything BFG has NO WARRANTY.  They are out of business as and no warranty's are being honored.

And the rumors that NVidia was going to honor BFGTech warranties for even a short period of time appears to be unfounded, based upon my experience with a bad board.  (The group that was supposedly doing that is unreachable, and doesn't respond to voicemail messages.)

Knowing that BFG's hand was forced, and that NVidia isn't picking up the slack leaves me a bit p'oed at NVidia.

And while this is a community swap-shop and not EBay, I do think a poster should have the right to set his or her own asking price, regardless of what anyone knows about what they got it for or what anyone else thinks is "fair" - but I also think that because this is a community swap-shop and not an EBay, the community has the right to comment on what they deem to be an unfair price being presented to the community.

But either way,  I do think that too many headaches over stuff like the above is probably what Skuzzy was referring to, and would be likely to lose us the use of the forum... so I'd urge everyone to use restraint.
