Westy i read the artical... Sounds like almost the exact system i just built,, Only i used a 600EB chip and i put in 512 133 cache, and i did opt for the GeForce,,, the mother board is down right the best one i've worked with the ATA and the 7200 rpm HD really works fast like he said Not as fast as a scuzzy but damn close.

 Hiya Nuttz!   I'm keeping my eye on topics and articles like this as I want to upgrade my MB and CPU ... and soon. Then after a while I'll grab another PC case and HDD to help create a whole new system. Giving my current one to the wife and kid. I've got spare soudn and vid cards so I'l use my current MX300 and TnT2 Ultra cards till much later this year and I'll upgrade the video card to wrap this all up.
 Wait a year, and then start repreating  
 Thanks cod they don't keep changing monitor, mice and keyboard designs as fast as vid cards, mobo's and cpu's
