Axis vs Allies arena setup for WWI
« on: October 12, 2010, 12:20:01 PM »
It's great to see the Axis vs Allies arena is currently setup for WWI.  :salute

But I wonder how many of the WWI arena regulars know about this. Might be an idea to post a note on the WWI "Arena Message" board.

I used to go in there pretty regular.  Allied versus Axis? Could be interesting....

Went in there yesterday, with no enemy icons and short range friendly icons, makes a big difference (imo). Had some great fights, lost a few, won a few....all round good fun.

Wish I could play more often if thats what its always like.

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

Oh crap!  crossed wires again.  Your talking about the AvA arena!   Ahhh...yes.  I may stop in there for a spin later this eve.  Hard to do much with that very limited plane set though....

Um, is AvA arena only open at certain times?

It currently won’t let me switch to the Allied side (Bishops) or select an aircraft on the Axis side (Knights).

just guessing it may be an issue with the patch.. give HTC a little time and they'll get it sorted.  But, in answer to your first question, the arena is open 24 hours a day but there may not be a staff member available.  There's a movie in my signature file re the arena.  The staff may not be around as they are volunteers and presumably have jobs during the day.

Good Luck

Also, side-switching for numbers balance is encouraged.  To that end, I don't believe there is a timer like in the mains.

Yeah the patch bunged it up a bit, I went in and reloaded it should be fixed now.
