I noticed some interesting progression in the questions.

Has your characters killed humans? (yes)
Has he lived in the 20th century? (yes)
Is he German?  :lol

(From there he directly went to Galland in amazing speed!  :eek:)

The second try was even better. All the time it seemed he was searching in the dark, asking more and more vague questions I had to answer no.. and then suddenly he presented the correct answer: Reinhold Messner  :aok

it took him 3 guesses to get adolf galland for me but he got hartmann easy and richthofen as well

Guessed Matt Hall Australian red bull pilot. It said Damien Oliver (Jockey) first then took about another 10 questions to get Matt Hall.

He got the 2 characters I thought of (Ch'p the Green Lantern Squirrel and Saxon from Mouse Guard) but my wife stumped him with Charlie Gordon.  He also got 2 characters from an anime we watch. He also got stumped on Jennifer Garner, but I might have gotten some of the details wrong.
