you know i wish we can have flames something like this coming out of our planes when we go on fire. I mean imagine the screenshots wowee.  :)  :O  :D

Sorry im new to editing and adding effects in Adobe Elements 8 so i dont know what happened to the film quality but you can get the general sense of the flames :

Not to be mean or anything... but the current flames we have in game look just fine IMO. Your editing in the YouTube video is um..... *cough*. :huh

Right. Framerates would take a tremendous hit. If you have ever seen the in-game flames and examined closely, I'm sure you would have noticed that they are simply a trail of 2D images repeated over and over in given intervals. This is why our framerates don't take a massive hit whenever we hit something with guns, are leaking fuel, have air show smoke on, or something with bombs, rockets or DT's.

Yeah they good but all they are is a great big balls not lickering flames. Even if the current flames are upgraded to show some orange and red flickering through the bright yellow i be happy but flames arnt yellow they are made up of Orange Yellow And Red arnt they.. ?????
