Actually if that would bleed off some of the people who really don't care for the history of WWII aviation and would be happier with a quake type space game it might be a plus for AHII. More people does not necessarily make for a better gaming experience. Personally I think the community got along better when it was smaller and you paid more to play the game.

Well, look at it this way - we've never encountered sharks w/laser beams or gatling-gun RV-8s outside of convention weekend....so I wouldn't be too worried.

And if HTC decided to do a MMOG space game, I'd subscribe to that too.

I think is was equally hysterical and genius. I'm not remotely worried that HTC is going to try to take this game anywhere other than the desires of the customer base and the needs of the game.  But every now and then a little hilarity is useful and there was tons of that last night. When I watched everybody spawn for the first time and saw the cloud of red underneath I knew it was going to be a hoot and I wasn't disappointed   Wish yall could have been there.
