Thing about the whole witch thing is, your typical Firebolt, or even your basic Nimbus 2001 has ridiculous climb rate and instant turn. Now if we had sidewinders it would be better, cause these days witches are smokin hot, making it easier to get a lock. Just don't overshoot. There's nothing sadder than overshooting with your first witch.
