Because the units in question never received the L model, obviously.

What units?

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is the 20th/55th, which transitioned to the P51.

This means the 474th won't be in the scenario?    :(

Gents, this is all we are going to release until we have all the ducks in a row, settings tested, and rules finalized.

Another great change in pace and in the right direction.

Del, its not that I don't want to have this conversation, its that I can't have it at this time.  We can continue this later.

I understand completely, no worries.

I have too much on my plate right now to take anything in AH seriously.  ;)

The time frame of the scenario is February 1944 thru April 1945. There will be six frames and an organizational frame to allow both sides to work out any kinks in their operations and C3.

Plane set will include for the Allies - P-47D11, P-47D28, P-47M, P-51B, P-51D, P-38J, B-17G and B-24J.

Plane set will include for the Axis - Bf-109G2, Bf-109G6, Bf-109G14, Bf-109K4, Me-110G, Me-163, Me-262, Fw-190A8, Fw-190D9, Ta-152H

I hope you will come join us for..

(Image removed from quote.)

Always remember, Its about the pilots and crew, then and now.

Hard decision for me. I like the A8 and B-17s too!   :uhoh  The Jet set might be difficult to defeat as a buff, but a lucky BB does exist!  :)

Looking forward to this event!

You are all going to see a minor change in the upcoming scenario.  This revolves around the entire concept of a "Beta Frame".

There won't be one.  In the past, the Beta Frame has evolved into a place to test the terrain, test the flight times, test the overall function of the event.  This will have been done.  The event will have been de-bugged as much as humanly possible before it is announced.  The Beta Frame was not attended in any fashion as it was simply looked on as a non functioning part of the actual scenario.

You will see a new term.  It's called a "Coordination Frame".  This is important.  There is going to be an amazing amount of time to train, practice, team build and design your teams strategy.  There will only be one frame to test it as your entire group.  This is where you see if all your planning, your fine tuning of your command structure, you rigid training on communications, your ability to distribute information during a crisis, all that you worked hard towards building actually performs.  It is not only a good idea, but it is critical to your success to attend.

The minutia of testing the terrain conditions will have been done.  You will be practicing on the completed event conditions from the first day you step onto the map.  Please, as you build your teams, understand that this is not a 6 frame event, it is a 7 frame event, and the coordination frame is a major part of tools we will be providing you to form a strong and functional team.

See ya soon :)

Nothing clever here.  Please, move along.

Glad to see things getting back to the way they should be. Good work Roc, nice having you back. Thanks for putting forth the large amount of time needed to really do it right. Not only I but I'm sure the community as a whole truly appreciates it.
