Being in the Medical Profession and dealing with these types of Calls on a daily basis, From what I have gathered you mentioned they stopped when you left the shop the first time. Now that your owner of that said shop I am wondering if there could be something faulty with the ventilation system, breathing in all those hazardous fumes will not help you out with the Headaches, I am leaning towards Carbon monoxide Poisoning or something along those lines.
Just my professional honest opinion I have been a Fire/medic for the last 23 yrs and thinks that is what or could be or another situation is a small bleed but that doesn't add up to the scenerio you presented.

hey Larry,
thank ya sir!! i appreciate the advice. the ventilation is ok there, and when i first had the new heater installed last fall, i kept my emissions analyzer running to monitor co, and hc. i figured it was my best way to make sure the exhaust stack wasn't leaking into the shop.
when i worked there before, the headaches came from constant tension. even in the summertime, when all the doors were left fully up, i'd get them. the guys family didn't help either. i had to deal with his kids running around there on a regular basis....caught one of em trying to steal my tools...and i couldn't touch the little poopwad. the previous owners family, and his attitudes(thinnking they were perfectly fine, and i was the problem) is what i think was causing them back then.
for now, todays seems to have cleared up, but i'm still not logging into the game tonight.....just gonna take a
HOT bath, and go to sleep early.
i WILL however, keep my emissions analyzer running tomorrow, just to verify that i'm not poisoning myself. it would suck to wake up in the hospital, or dead.
thankss all too, for the words of advice!!
