It's been fun but time to go

I have had many years in this game and met a lot of good people but it's time to hang up my guns. Instead of dwelling on the reasons for departing I would rather say I have really enjoyed hanging out with you guys.

I will miss the camaraderie of flying with some of the nicest and creative bunch of warriors on the planet. The game never held my interest as much as the people that make up the playing field but I am at a point that I need to walk away.

Thank you fellas for all of the great times. You are all great champions of WWII combat aviation and I will certainly miss your competitive spirit and unique skills that make the game what it truly is. The least I could do is say goodbye formaly. It just didn't seem right to leave without an explanation.

I will check in on you guys to see whats going on every now and then.

Thank you guys for your thoughts. As always you are a great group of friends and foes. (meaning that with the best of intentions) I hope the game continues and I might take a look at some other time but it's much too frustrating for me to continue.

I have about 8 years (under two names) flying with my squad and I realize that if your not changing you are most likely dying but the game has slowly moved so far away from it's original personal interest for me that I am more aggravated than happy.

I guess everyone needs to step away for a bit and I am sure HTC has the very best of intentions for their ever growing customer model and I wish I had a better attitude to help me grow along with HTC to the next step but my interest is better described as squad and friend related more than game play.

I have never been involved with any game this long (as I am sure a lot of you feel the same) and the restrictions to arenas have just taken their toll on my interest level. I guess I am the old quirkey kind of guy and I certainly have no interest in taking anything away from the majority fun factor but my own selfish need for hangin with my buddies is more appealing than any game model.

Please don't read anything into my personal whine. AH is one of the greatest games I have ever been associated with and most certainly offers much more diversity than anything I have ever seen on line. Once I get over my little feewing problem I am sure we will meet up in the future.

In the mean time please continue to kill with extreme prejudice.
