Anyone using one of these?

How about the PNY model, comes with the H3D Gaming Glasses.

Anyone give these a go yet?

I have a VisionTEK GeForce4 Ti4400 on order from http://www.micropro.com and they say I should have it by Thursday next week at the latest. They just showed up in the shop today and I live in Alabama so I took the FEDEX 2nd Day option. BTW the price is $275 plus shipping and the Ti4600 from VisionTEK is listed at $385 in same shop.

I purchased a TI4400 yesterday from Best Buy-$299.This sucker SCREAMS....my 3DMARK 2001 score jumped 2000 points up to 8700.

 I haven't tried the glasses yet,and I doubt I will.They aren't effective unless your refresh rate is 100 HZ,which my monitor won't support at 1600 x 1200...lol.

don't count the glasses out. After trying them again at 1280 x 1024 x 32 and messing with the settings so that the interior is 2d while outside is 3d, it's pretty cool. Gunsight works, zoom is great. Slight flickering as the monitor goes down to 70 hz when I ctrl T the effect on. Need to ctrl G to bright it up a tad but a neat change. Heard Operation Flashpoint is very neat with them.
Sox, what driver you using? THe one that came in the box, what rev is yours? My Pny CD driver is 4.13.01.2742.

My game cfg for the stereo glasses read as:

AppRealName=aceshigh (SW TnL)
StereoConvergenceMultiplier=-5.91004515
StereoSeparation=0.01860369
StereoGamma=1.20000005
StereoConvergence=-0.01692036
MinRHW=-0.79869032 (farthest)
MaxRHW=10.00000000 (closest)
Suggested StereoConvergenceMultiplier=-5.91004515
Suggested Infinity RHW=0.20577219
Warning!!! 0.09301707 of Z range is at infinity and beyond!!!
Farthest object with equal RHW is at 10.00000000
RHWGreaterAtScreen=0.44477019
DX version=700

have been going back and forth trying to decide btw an ATI 8500 128MB 275mhz radeon or this ti 4400 or my old geforce 2 ultra. Both the ATI and TI4400 are $299 from Circuit City. Again the geforce4 is faster while the ati has better image in and out of game ... now that the glasses are working somewhat, probably go with ti4400.

I was using the 27.42 drivers,and just installed the new 28.32 drivers that Nvidia posted.If I don't like em',I'll go back to the 27.42's.

 I haven't used a driver cd on any Nvidia card for years now.I find either leaked drivers,or use the refence drivers...whichever seems to work best for the games I play.

I ordered a Leadtek Ti4600 this morning from Monarchcomputers.com  They had exactly 3 left lol.  Should be here monday.  Anyway... from all the checking I've been doing, the Ti4400 is absolutely the best for the money and not at all far behind the Ti4600.  I'm only going for the Ti4600 because for once I want to have the big-boy on the block thing, ya I know, for a whole 3 months probably but hey, it'll feel good heheh.

i've ordered a GF4 4600 which i should receive by next week. my acrtual framerates are in between 75 and 65 on a resolution of 1600x1200/32 and i use a AMD 1800+ with 512MB

the most push on framerates, it was about 40-60% happened, when i changed some settings on my bios ( damn i dont find the note with the changes right now ) ... but it was allmost all in the advanced settings of the bios.

which detonator driver version is recomended for the new GF4 cards ?

gonna post the changes i've made here by tomorrow.

The newest one from nVidia is 28.32 and it is supposed to improve on some things from the first set of drivers they shipped. Right now I am using the 27.50 driver set and am having trouble getting 3DMark2001 SE to run with it at all.
