well now my favorite geriatric squaddie i must ask you, why on earth are you wasting time watching a show as completely retarded as dawg the bumbling bounty hunter when instead you could have spent that time in more admirable persuits such as zipping around the MA's pawning the baby seals in your spitV?

They're using mace aerosols and tear gas (CS) pellet filled paintball guns.

Paintball markers equiped with either hard rubber balls or hollow pepper-spray-filled balls that break on impact, first used and developed for/by the Seattle P.D. here in the states as precision non-lethal crowd/riot control devices (along the lines of believing that it only takes one trouble maker to turn a crowd into a rioting mob, so rather than continue developing crowd controling devices like the fire hose, they wanted something that could precisely incompacitate the identified trouble-making leaders/organizers in a crowd.  It, in combination with the tear-gas canister launchers, is also very effective at dispercing or controlling a crowd though too).  A couple rubber balls to the dome and you're probabley not seeing straight, a couple pepper balls to the chest and you're crying in agony.

They use the nastiest, meanest looking pepper sprayers and paint ball shooters that the law will allow.

They do this in order to try and disguise their extreme overabundance of femininity.

Beth: DOG! My wig needs washing!

Dog: Yes dear, I'll get right on it......... oh praise the Lord!

I don't think it is wise to point a paint ball gun a some one on the run . A good way to end up dead ...like every one around here has a gun , legal or not .

They always portray themselves as going after the meanest street criminals imaginable, but after the catch, the reality is that they are chasing worn out street hags and junkies.

Against a truly "hardened" criminal, it would be a bloodbath.

Of course, A&E doesn't want one of their top rated showmen getting mowed down in a blaze of gunfire.

True. The episodes they've done in Hawaii they were going after people we've never even heard of...

Good thing about paintball guns is that they have that big hopper ontop and have essentialy looked the same for the past twenty years.  You would have to be living under a rock or eating rocks to interpret it as a serious and lethal armed threat amd shoot someone toting around one.  Now, stripped of the hopper and other parts to the point that you're toting around an unoperable paintball marker that looks like a real firearm... that would be stupid!

I can't imagine ever being so desperate for entertainment that I would watch that show.

Eh, personaly I'm an advocate for law enforcement to shoot idiots doing stupid things first and ask questions later, but it's too bad that's not the way it works even if I think it's just another trial of darwinism when people ignore an authority and can't shut-up/stop and follow their direction.  Fortunatley though Dog isn't a certified peace/law officer, so under my logic he shouldn't have the right to shoot someone else without very reasonable cause.

(Image removed from quote.)

I think that's my second favorite episode, after the recent shake-a-weight (or whatever that thing is called) one.
