I never heard of the crystal cockpit either. Maybe it had been eliminated before I started AW.
I did try the 51 cockpit art work thing, but like others I tended to fly what ever I was in like a 51.

I've never heard of the "crystal cockpit."  I suppose it might have existed, but I always enjoyed the P-38 artwork.  I briefly considered switching to the more SA-friendly P-51 cockpit while flying the P-38, but it didn't "feel" right.

I don't recall anyone in the Nomads flying with or discussing the use of a crystal cockpit while I was in the squad. 

LOL I never knew of it either.  I always hated default art too.  I figured if I was cartoon flying a 38, it should look like a 38.  Not that Fin will ever be convinced

Must have been +Jase then.  I know that some of the guys when they went to FR got accused of cheating in there as they didn't immediately die to the vets.  As I died often to the vets I was not one of those guys
