There were less Nits than Rooks.

sigh

50 players can be 10% 100% or 1000% advantage. It doesn't say anything. It's all about relative numbers. Look the population percentages.
Yes, 100 to 50 players is not the same as 350 to 300, even if it's both 50 players more ;)

"something like that" isn't that much of help. ;)

But let me say it this way: ENY limiter works the same for all countries all the time. While there are occasionally players that do claim otherwise, they usually only refer to absolute advantage too "yesterday we had only 20 more and same ENY", or simply do not show any reliable numbers (by screenshot).

well with 10 less people the nits  had 0 eny also   even though they had almost 40 more then the rooks as well? i am not following how the envy is really working? or calculating  it right.

We had this discussion before, even with actual formulas 7 coading by HT... I just can't find it  (dam broken board search)

ENY doesn't start unless some threshold is crossed. From then it builds up pretty quick. In your example 150 bish, 138 nits, 100 rook  it's  38.7%, 35,6% and 25.8%. ENY for a country is calculated by your country % compared to smallest country %.
And always, really always, use percentages, not absolute numbers.

But then without actual screenshots we only can speculate.

It's all about ratios.  The numbers are irrelevant.
