I have said fr a while now that we need new strat targets in the old strat locations,  HTC mentioned something about it a while back but i can't remember what it was he said,,,
 anyway,  we need BB factories,, all tyhe big raids went to the BB factories or the submarine pens!    just a thought!   <<S>>

He mentioned Cement Factories that would affect the down time of the towns, but that is the only new strat target I've heard him mention.  (Yeah...it took this long for it to click )

I could not remember and didn't feel like doing a search for it!
The ball bearing factories could do many things as far as cost of planes and tanks,,,  less parts to build them would justify there increased expense!  I have also heard of the plane factories in some other game,, like a spit factory and a pony factory  or a tiger tank factory, this would be kind of neat i think!   I have no problem rebuilding them when they go down as long as there is a vehicle spawn to them!

I mentioned something like aircraft, vehicle and bomber factories before, but got a big no go on it.  The MAIN reason is ENY.  It would conflict with the eny system.

Admit it, you know you want power plants to bomb. 

How about this possible use for Ball Bearing Plants, as a way to limit the amount of times a supply convoy sets out.  As is they are every hour?  Using the 1 hr time as an example, knocking out the Ball Bearing Plant (15% or lower) for a zone increases this to 2 hours.  So every two hours a supply convoy would spawn as a result.  The factory would be larger than what we have for strats, but not as big as the Industrial Center.  How is this for a possible use for Ball Bearing Plants?

I've always kinda liked the idea of oxygen tank factories myself. When your factory gets knocked out, you black out if you go too high.....

Nope, we need Spitfire factories like we used to have in AW.  Destroy the factory and no more spitties for the other side(s) until they either get resupplied or time elaspes.....  Now wouldn't that get the whiners goin...I can see it now.  "Damn (insert country of choice) killed out spit factory, I can't up, cause I can't fly anything else."

+1 for any added strat targets.  I think it would change the gameplay in a very positive way, giving it more variety and nuance. I think trains and tracks that could be hit would be good.  Voltron, think hydro dam.

Voltron, BBs would affect tanks.  I recall the allies targeted ball bearing factories for that reason.

I am all for a different strat system that has more of a damaging impact after a successful raid.  The bombers now days are used to fly at 20k feet as ack wagons, dive bomb heavy lancasters on Carriers, even to turn fight in (A20).  Anything at all to get them back to their traditional roles.  Even in a cartoon world those things seem tacky enough to have ACME stamped on them, and plans drawn up by Wiley himself.

Learn to defend your factories.


Air craft factories would get me back in a bomber for sure. Make a Few factories  per country.
