Im not against the idea nrshida unless it adds even more overhead to the system which only HTC can say. It does seem redundant to me since I know we already have autofilm (I wonder whose wish THAT was?) and since I know from having recorded so much film exactly how far into a film to advance the player in order to find a fight and so knowing that it makes you seem lazy (a bit). In fact I think your next wish will be for a five minute capture and then a three minute capture.

Your "poo-pooing" my comments has ignored some really good ideas you know. No need to watch all 3444 films if they are all cataloged properly. I just pull up all the films under "playername" and I can see the level of their progress. It would bore you to tears.  ;)
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I dont know how many are redundant to you... but to me none of them are redundant.

I film everything. After spending years flying with my squad I know I had thousands of films I could go through (current count is 3444 in archives and 194 for the last three months) but I wanted one particular fighter maneuver to share with them (the cobra roll). I literally do that maneuver dozens of times every month but I name the films by who I kill or who kills me and not the maneuvers.

I think what you should ask for is a better cataloging system. AHF files should allow us to save information in the file properties like WHO is in it and what plane types and of course the maneuvers kind of like mp3 files allow you to save the artist and studio and album and so on.
It seems that someone has an exciting and rewarding life. :headscratch:

Semp if something happened before your own fixed recording period, which I suggested as 10 minutes to get the idea going, then you're out of luck. Can't provide for every eventuality, this is already way of pulling something back from the past as it is!

Chalenge, you should start an iTunes-a-like for ahf files thread, if you think that's a better solution.

Flushing data to file is usually a background task and more a question of altering the algorithm, there should be no increased processing overhead.

Boy, the cynicism! I don't get anything out of this myself you know. I just gave some thought to a feature the game doesn't currently have and presented it, for free, for the benefit the whole player base. It's in the Wishlist because there's no Suggestion Box.
