WOW, your ability to totally ignore the actual value of such a tactic and substitute your biased opinion is amazing.

The smoke is to help identify GVs to other GVs, from planes. We have it in tanks already, but all of you know who use the smoke, that you can not exactly place the smoke where you want it. Even further when GV's are attacking a base it is nice to mark hard to find GV's for your countrymen.

one of my favorite things to do is mark tanks in my Hurri1 hurl a couple a these out the window would be great since I dont use tracers.

What if your countrymen are tied up defend an air cap? The only amount of time they can commit to marking a GV for you is maybe one pass, after that...your on your own.
