G940 gone wierd
« on: February 04, 2011, 06:46:14 AM »
I fired up AH2 tonight and my function buttons dont work any more. They are all mapped correctly and the axis movements still work fine. I tried unplugging and the usual reboot PC stuff, plus remapping and even tried using the Logitech profiling software. Bit tricky dogfighting when even the trigger doesnt work! Anyone come across this type of thing before?

I am thinking the next thing to do is a complete game re install:(

did you accidently knock it out of "Mode 1"  or unprogram it to default to "Mode 1" in Aces High when launching an Aircraft..
this sounds like what it is acting like, but I may be wrong

hope this helps, wish ya luck

Check the button functions in the Windows game controller and the Logitech software.

Getting there. I remapped all my function keys and now it sort of works except that I get about 20 mph at full throttle! I can so heartily not recommend this stick to anyone.

did you map your RPM? if it is on a wheel/rotary knob and mapped is it inverted axis?

if you hit WEP key or button mapped to WEP, does the throttle go FULL THROTTLE?

just some suggestions of why it might be showing you only 20% @ full throttle....

hope this helps

Thanks for all you advice guys. I have now got it back to behaving itself and will copy the settings to a safe place.
