yes Base Score is determined by lowest Sub Score
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

Here is my system score and I know my problem area...dang Seagate hard drive is fudging up the whole shooting match. Getting swapped out AGAIN since BestBuy didn't want to give me a store credit on the 4th bad Seagate hard drive in less than 12 months that I have taken back into them with the vaunted BestBuy guarantee. SO I have a Western Digital in similar size but BETTER reliability going in as soon as I get a chance to back up all my stuff and reload my OS on the new drive.

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 7.4

Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB 7.4

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 7.8

Gaming graphics 3067 MB Total available graphics memory 7.8

Primary hard disk 726GB Free (931GB Total) 5.9

Windows 7 Ultimate

5.9 Determined by lowest subscore

I've had it maxed out before at 7.9!  you have to RAID-0 the SSD's,  And it dos'nt give my WD Velociraptor a break either, 5.9

5.9 is pretty standard for non-raid 7200RPM hard drives, from what I've seen personally.

Yup, for instance, mine is:

6.4
6.4
7.4
7.4
5.9 (I have one really old drive and one new drive in RAID, still faster than it was!)

It sucks that it ruins the overall score lol.
