SmartMoney always has pro's and con's to both sides of financial arguements, I like their analysis best.
FWIW, leasing is not for me, I put on an average of 18,000 miles a year.
Same here, it just doesn't make sane sence for me between a typical vacation for me running me 1100-1600 miles each trip (that's at least one trip in a bad year, average is ~3-4, 6+ if I always had it my way), an annual daily working commute of ~14000, and throw in an extra thousand or five a year for potential job site visits, meetings, plan checks, site walks, etc. etc.. Last year I racked I think ~24k total on my Honda civic and another ~5k on the company pickup, this year should be noticabley less though I think since we wrapped up a job in Merced, and if I never have to drive from LA to Merced and back again in the same day I'll die happy.
Made a promise to him a long time ago. I don't break promises to Squid man. You'd have to actually know us pretty well to understand
Still think he's getting it too easy.
You'd have to of seen how many brand new luxury or sporty beamers, lexi and benzes a spoiled rich persian kid (and we had a good number of them, all related I believe) could wreck and go through within a single month at my high school to understand.
