Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Got to be the Avro Vulcan, we watched with wonder when they came to the Rochester airshow in the 70's. The 'Vulcan Howl' is an amazing sound!

I somehow forgot about this one before.

Should have been the next generation in business aircraft but somehow never caught on.  There is one sitting in the yard where I'm at school, engines long gone, avionics stripped, but it still has a cherrywood wet bar and cabinets/closet and posh leather seats.  Makes me sad to think it'll never fly again every time I see it.   :(

PS I love that Blackbird photo moot.  :aok

Nothing looks as cool and rakish as this..................

One of the reasons it never caught on was cost.  You could get a Citation or Lear for the same money.
We had very few come in over the years, think the Piaggio Avanti might have a better run.

Strictly from a ground service point of view, I appreciated the single point refueling on the 180.
