I believe that's a feature not a bug.

Maybe it's an observation.

Had the same thing happen to me the other day.

One enemy, me, friendly cv, furballing in my own AAA. He was in front of me and poof, I'm in the tower and he got the kill.  :aok

At the very least, I think it got him soon after too.

It happens offline too.  If you're in the way, you get hit.  Functioning as intended, in my opinion.  Solution is to not fight (hide?  ;)) in your own ack.

It will still kill you when you are defending your own assets. You make it sound as if the best solution would be to never defend either. Sorry but if someone pulls a stupid move and dives 20k just to hit one ack before getting his head handed to him... he needs to be chased and killed.

This sort of thing is inevitable just like the spray-and-pray deaths and just like the disco deaths. You cant avoid it even though it makes you mad and ruins your streak or whatever it just cant be avoided. Shrug and move on.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

My comment was more for those timid people that run to their base ack because they lost any advantage they might have had in a fight.  For them, I guess they want it so friendly ack can't hurt them, making it an even better place to run and hide.  I'm more of a base-defense player, and fight in my ack if that's where the enemy decided to be.  I'm not the sort to run to friendly ack at the drop of a hat during a fight, though.
