Film Viewer Questions
« on: March 06, 2011, 04:58:50 PM »
1. For vehicles with multiple positions/guns, how do you move around in the vehicle to view from a position? right now, in buffs, I'm stuck in the pilot position and cant do an internal view from any other position.

2. Any film as a gunner/observer, film viewer just crashes. An error message reads:
"ahfilm.exe has stopped working --- A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this?

3. If I want to upload a film to a hosting site like mediafire, should I save the film as an .avi first or just .ahf?

These might have been already discussed, but I want to be clear. Thanks

Been discussed how?

1. Moving in a vehicle is exactly like moving around in a single bomber. Use Keyboard 2,3,4,5,6,7 for gunner positions with #1 being the pilot.  Moving planes is different. For a bomber formation, it can be switched by using
Ctrl+ 1,2 or 3 Ctrl 1 being the center bomber/plane...

2.  I have not experienced that "bug" or error in films. You might try a search in the "Help" or "Bug" Forums.
It may also be video or sound related within your pc maybe even a memory issue. Sorry.

3. Personally, I compress the files when uploading. WinZip or other common programs. That does 2 things. It allws users to download faster since it is smaller, you use less storage and lastly, some links will actually "Open" the file if someone just clicks on it. Then there is garbage. (They should have right clicked and Save or Save As)

Hope that gives you what you need.
