Oh HEY, GayTrooper!  No, this was months ago! There were no bomb****s there that day! 

I actually want to thank you for egging me that day, I only had 3 kills in that T-34.... but I decided to bring back a Typhoon and ended up with 5 of you bomb****s' scalps!  The only thing that could have made it better was for someone else to have not already killed you before I got there!

I would've stuck around longer but the cv was sank and i didn't feel like flying bombers 2 sectors to get mauled by wirbs/osties/other aircraft

If you get a gray text check-6 in the buffer it's a friendly.

If not, open up point-blank on their sorry backside.

Or you can use the machine gun that operated from the turret position (press <B> while looking through the turret sight) to ping them once or twice. If you see hits and don't hear pings its not friendly.

Not saying this is any better than check 6 them but it's usually how I check.

Shows you how much I GV.  In the years I've played this game, I never knew you could operate the MG from the main gun with the secondary fire button.     Thank ya sir.

Yep, learned about that gun many years after I started playing. It was like what the heck. Thought it was just a fixture.

The "check 6" either ID's them as a friendly or not without tipping them off you are there.

What Mar said.. I don't care if they know I'm there or not. If I don't hear pings there's gonna be an AP round in that tank about a second later
