did you select it under the sound options withing ah?  if it works in windows and you set up the mike in windows under the "speech recognition" option in your win7 control panel then it should work.

It's all part of the "Anti-Squeeker" algorithms that are installed in the game.  :lol

But seriously, do you have mic-boost enabled in the sound properties?  Try that.

Have you checked that you have the correct sound input selected under the 'preferences/game sounds/microphone'?

Depending on your system, you may not have a mic boost option in Windows.  Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound> Click under the "Recording" tab, then locate your active microphone.  It will be the one with the microphone level indicator beside it.  Double click that tab and then click on the "custom" tab.  If you see a microphone boost there, enable it.  After it's enabled, set your boost to max.  If you have boost, that will fix ya up.  If you don't see the boost feature, you may need a different sound card (or possibly a driver for your current sound card) that has a boost feature.

Then it's a game setting issue.

Someone is asking for a lot of help after basing the game over the past few days...

Make sure the 'V' channel in the radio control bar is set to 101.

To test what others would hear, simply set the 'V' channel to your game ID.  If you hear yourself, then it is working fine.

If you get a 'beep' but no voice, then the game is recognizing a microphone, but nothing is being sent from the microphone the game sees.

It could also be a firewall (router or software on the computer) blocking the transmissions as well.

i spent some time with him online last night trouble shooting all his ah settings.  I asked him to take pictures and post them in case i missed something.  his transmission does "beep" but no voice.  not even static.
