Ketsugo Frame 2
« on: April 08, 2011, 11:07:53 PM »
Rather disappointing frame.  Was there something up with the arena setting?  Attack on 105 never caused base to flash.  Attack group flew over city/factory complex, never flashed.  Other bases across the map were flashing.  The attack force was able to get in with no interdiction.  Was that part of the setup, if so, we should have been told there would be sporadic coverage for warnings.

We can't have Sporadic coverage for base warnings. Might be a game issue?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

There is no way to disable or enable the warning settings for certain fields.  If one alerts then all will alert as an enemy comes within range.

This is a screen shot while I was over the top of the base as the f6f's f4u's tore the base apart below. No immediate proximity strats flashed keep in mind the enemy flew over them & was taking puffy ack as some people reported. I did not see this myself though,no port flashed & most importantly no alert at A105? You can check my stats after watching film I downed two aircraft within sight of a105 & that base never did alert even when surviving enemy turned for home no strats alerted as they headed south.

We were attackng 105 in the F6F's. Came in from the south, flashed the bases, the strats and again flashed the bases and the strats on our way out. Its weird, they were flashing on our front ends. I do have the film if needed.

there was some weirdness with the terrain... v41 and a29 and the troop factory until the attackers were almost on top of it...my squad ran into them as they were heading north from v41...almost got shot down looking at the clipboard trying to make sure i wasn't seeing things.

saw bomber drones just disappear...no explosions or anything but i chalked that up to a glitch on my end.

Pilots from the 325th reported that while flying home to A1 from A31 area over the south west part of the island nothing flashed even though they were in the middle and several bases should have been flashing.

On our end 105 and the strats did not flash while 105 was under attack.

Same with the 54 attack, certain things flashed, others didn't, it was very very confusing.

I have a new high-end system running AH. If I turn off vsync I get 170 fps at least with all details maxed. As soon as I air spawned with 5 other boxes of B-29s my FPS was in the 10s. It remained so for a little while then evened out some minutes later and jumped back to full. Over the target area it got really sluggish again. I don't think it was the planes per se. I suspect possible terrain issues (???) as in the past these have been culprits with such strange lag issues. It's why HTC yanked some of the old terrain files.

We had issues with Flaming jap planes. Some in the squad could see the flames and some couldnot.
