Fairly Swordfish!!!
« on: April 18, 2011, 08:18:57 AM »
Come on :) you all know you want an outdated biplane to sink those CV's or possibly even sunk the Bismarck
It even carried a reasonable payload of bombs to bomb a town.
+1 for the Swordfish

If you're going to put in a wishlist request for a plane it would help if you were to get the name of the plane correct.

Sorry the Fairly SwordFish :D I still think it would be a nice plane to have added. But I will say that many other planes/GV need to be first so don't flame me please!

The company's name was Fairey.  Saying "Fairey Swordfish" is like saying "Lockeed P-38", "Supermarine Spitfire", "Mitsubishi Zero" or "Focke=Wulf 190".

I'd rather play with a Gloster Gladiator or a Fiat Cr.42 than a Swordfish.  The B5N Kate is quite enough of a suicide torpedo ride for one game....

A swordfish might be nice...it's so slow the 5" gunners might get tired and leave before it closes from icon to attack
