Wednesday May 18th, 2011 10:00pm Eastern in SEA II – Snapshot ”The Legend of Y29" Hosted by 68Raptor
In this week’s snapshot we re-create a legendary air battle, the Legend of Y29. With one of the biggest mistakes for the Axis army continuing with Operation Bodenplatte the legend of Y29 was born. The FW190's and BF109's of JG-11 arrived at Asch just as the 487th FS of the 352nd FG were rolling down the runway; the ensuing battle came to be known as the Legend of Y-29.  The pilots of the 487th Fighter Squadron who took off under fire and in the face of overwhelming odds scored 23 kills while suffering only 2 damaged aircraft in the face of 3:1 odds.
Snapshots are walk on events hosted in the SEA II, and all are welcome. Forums are located Here.

Saturday May 21st, 2011 Starts 3:30pm Eastern in SEA II Frame 2 of Road to Rangoon – An Aces High Scenario. Hosted by ROC, Design by DoktOr Gonz0/Fencer.
In this Aces High Scenario, the RAF, RAAF, USAAF and AVG forces are defending Burma from the Japanese horde which is conquering all before them.  Flying Hurricane Mk I's, P-40B's, P-40E's, and Brewster Buffalos with little support and no reinforcements in sight they try to maintain air superiority over the vital port of Rangoon.  Rangoon is the vital link in the supply chain to the Chinese forces fighting the Japanese.
The IJAAF (flying Ki-43s (A6M2's), Ki-44s (A6M5b's), G4M1 Bettys, and Dinahs (Bf-110C's)) have taken bases in Siam and are setting up for a bombing offensive against the vital port.
Pilots get two lives in aircraft and unlimited lives as gunners. There will be four frames , each lasting 3 hours.  Start time will be 3:30pm Eastern US Time on Saturdays.
This is a remake of the classic "Rangoon 42" scenario with a few changes as we have different planes available now.
