Mates, I am not very good at remembering names. I would like for each person (or someone)to identified each person in the group picture, (that has all of the back roll standing) (starting on first roll, left to right of the picture).  I am on the back roll, third from left, in the yellow shirt.

I'll try my hand at naming all the suspects. Handles might be spelled incorrectly.

Back row left to right:

Bj229r
hexxer
ahrattat
SWKilljoy
1MADDOG1
lyric1
Nefari
Becinhu
Sabre1

Front Row left to right:

??? (can't remember sorry)
Redtec
tom08290 (laying down)
SWchef
SHawk
Aussie? (Standing)
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

That's a bummer BJ.  We were hoping you'd get back OK.  I heard that Becinhu might have had some issues with his truck on the way home too.  No update yet though.

Made it back. The truck blew a spark plug in Columbus. Darn thing sounded like a lawnmower all the way home and sucked gas terribly.  Hopefully it only shattered the top of the plug and didn't blow out the threads.

Different experience for sure. Worked on a fulcrum system vs servos.  FLying wasn't horribly difficult, landing on the other hand......I woulda made Corky proud landing my 38.  Cartwheeled it down the runway and broke of just about everything.  No smoke or fire though.

As for the truck it did blow the threads out of the head.  My dealership gave me an estimate of around $800, so I called a friend who works at Ford.  Truck sat at my dealership for 10 days without moving, Ford had it done in 6 hours for $321.

We had a Dodge Caravan that blew one out.  I bought the Helicoil (sp?) kit, inserted the new threads, reinstalled the plug.  Done in 1 hour, $25.  :)

I didn't get a chance to test the sim till late Sat night and by then it had broken.     But, I did enjoy sitting on the cots drinkin a few cold ones in the A/C.

They had to drill and tap the head to redo the threads. Far beyond my mechanical ability.
