I was running the exact same setup with custom sounds at 60 fps with no issues or crashes before the patch. Also if it was a ping issue it would be a host lost connection message, not a game crash.
i understand that...but the last version did not have the changes to some of the sound system that the new version has...

any one of which could cause an issue with a sound card driver...which in turn could cause the program to crash.
