May he fly the Blue Yonder.....Salute to your family.  My prayers are with you and the family
The only HO I have every attempted was with a French potato named Miss Francine.  Otherwise I stay away from the HO it makes me very nervous having 20 and 30mm shells whipping by my canopy.

My condolences, sir.  My prayers are with you.  If I remember correctly, didn't we meet at the 2009 Dayton gathering?

15 years ago a good friend of mine passed away.  His wife asked only one thing: "When you remember and talk about Russ, remember and say only the good things."  It is how I remember all my friends and acquaintances now.
FlackFud was a great guy, and genuinely fun to be around.  I honestly will miss him in the game <S>

Folks,
I'm very sad to report that my brother Robert 'Flackfud'  has passed away.  This has been very devastating for myself and my family.  Rob was a loving father of two children 15 and 5, and happily married for 17 years.  At 45, Rob was one of the healthiest and happiest people I knew.  He was my rock.  We were just talking the Saturday prior about spending more time doing things together doing things, and suddenly this occurred the next Monday.  Without getting into too much detail, my brother passed very suddenly and unexpectedly.  It has been a very hard couple weeks, and I'm just now getting the courage to post this.

Rob really enjoyed flying with all of you.  He loved everyone and love playing this game.  Rob was a pilot in life, and passionate about family and flying.

The LCA is planning on a memorial flight Sunday at 8-9:30pm (practice at 8) with the event at 9:30.  Tunes I believe is arranging this.  I'm sure you could get in touch with him at the website: http://david.tenifer.com/forum/phpBB2/index.php  My video card is broken and honestly, I don't have the courage to join the event.  I can't tell you how sudden, shocking and crushing this has been for so many people that loved my brother as I did.

I hope you will all remember him well.

wow sincraft, i am very sorry to hear about flackfud, i enjoyed meeting u guys in dayton and im very happy that yall could join us. thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who
attended the remembrance ceremony and for
their patience while we organized it.

flackfud was very special to our squad.
It's hard to imagine that someone you know
only as a voice can become a close friend;
even closer than some friends I have
had for years.

One of my squaddies, pd37, said it best in
an email he sent me:

"Although this is a silly game we play, the
relationships we build over vox, and over
time are as real as they get."

Ain't it the truth.

There's something special about flackfud that
words cannot describe  I think, though, that
the most telling things are his enthusiasm,
and bright spirit.  That guy never failed to
make me feel special and I love him for that.

I will miss him dearly...

We've finished our remembrance video that
all of you made possible.  You're invited
to view it here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OlpRebQoGU

Please feel free to offer your comments to
Sincraft (his brother), his wife Carrie
and his family in the YouTube comments area.

Bob was only 45 years old when he passed into
eternity and left behind 2 young children.
I'm sure any comforting words you might have
will be of a help to them as they grieve this
tragic loss.

You can also download the uncompressed video here:

Thank you again for your attendance, your sympathies
and your help.  <S>
