« on: May 20, 2011, 06:53:29 AM »
If I leave the radio panel opened while trying to GV, the mouse turret control dont work. It resume operation as soon as it's closed.

Thats not a bug. If you are going to use the radio panel, use it, it shuts after you send your message. The mouse will switch from mouse look to normal mouse function with the panel open so you can use the "drop box's" etc.  Try it when using the clipboard and you will find the same thing happens then.

Ok. I used to leave it opened so I can see who is on vox with me.

I guess that's the point where I should threaten to quit but I wont...  :noid

You may be interested to know that with mouse look disabled - (like I have  ;)) You can still move the turret around when either the radio panel or the clipboard are up.

At the end of the day you just have to accept that there are pro's and con's to the way the mouse options now work in AH. It's not a case of what is right or wrong, just what suits you best overall.

Sounds like a pretty good 'wish' to me, to be able to open the VOX window separate from the text buffer.

I'll go along with that one, A key to toggle the Vox list. The AFK check box would probably have to go, but it is really not that much use anyway unless you get frustrated with people not talking back!

It would be no good to me though. - I'm almost deaf and certainly can't understand what people say on vox (my one "good" ear stops working at 1 kHz)   :lol

Ah! So I think you have mouse look disabled in aircraft!
You do know that there is another stage of mouse look you can disable so that you can control a GV turret with your joystick alone rather than with the mouse?

No I'd rather control the turret with my mouse, I'm waaaaayyyy too ham fisted to fine control that thing with a joystick.  :lol
