How did you spend your apocalypse?
« on: May 22, 2011, 09:19:59 AM »
I spent mine watching "On Stranger Tides" and book shopping.  At 6pm (central) I started to get raptured, but I realized I'd miss the Green Lantern movie, so I sinned a little on the way up and now I'm back.  It's surprising how many points you can dump by giving a seraph a wedgie.  :devil

I been spending the last 30 years making sure that I had a place on earth.

Last night I made extra sure of it.

I played World of Tanks with strangers on the internet.

I'm a professional photographer, I was working a wedding all day yesterday.  Didn't think about it until I was headed home about 10pm.  I'm still waiting to hear the excuses from the guy who made the prediction.

I was watching the plume from a newly awake volcano while cutting down wood for the BBQ. Then we had BBQ.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Well, it takes 15 minutes preparation to get our robot to work for little more than two minutes of doing a pretty simple task (putting inner tubes on pegs).  I'd say that power consumption is the biggest issue before we can realize our goal of world domination. :devil
