Simple really. Instead of having to hit a button multiple times to raise all notches of flaps, about one that you hit once and it starts retracting all notches? Equivalent to slapping the flap handle all the way back to the raised position?
What about the ability to map the flaps to an analog control? I like the idea of not having to keep tapping, but knowing the aircraft allows you to just quickly tap the number of notches you can get at a given IAS and they'll keep deploying.
EDIT: Ah, but you were talking about how cumbersome it was to raise the flaps all the way. lol, yeah, I agree.
