I am a Canadian and a member of the Ministry for Canadian Singer Qualification for US Entertainment Enterprises (McSquee).  It's my job to make sure Avril Lavigne remains vapid and annoying.  I report directly to William Shatner.

Why am I telling you all this?  Because there's *nothing* you can do to stop us.  (insert evil laughter here)  :devil

I just KNEW all those polite people up there must be up to something diabolical....

We love the Ca's.  They think they are different, but they are Americans, or we are all Canadians.  D

Did they ever announce what they were naming the team? I heard they hired a GM recently.

Haven't heard anything yet, the NHL bought the rights to the name but I don't think True North wants to call them the Jets.

Which would suck because I've heard some awful names floating around.

Today at 11:30 the Golden Hawks F86 was flying over. It did 2 nice 360's nearby.
Me Thinks a  possibilty of Golden Jets in the name.

wiki page of the demo team is here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Hawks
I read it on the internet, so it must be true !
