Just think, Smurfs the movie is coming out now. Previews makes it look absolutely horrible and annoying.

Im waiting for Count Duckula and Dangermouse to come out as a full feature movie. Those I might have to go watch. In fact, how about a Duckman and The Critic movies also?

I miss those shows  :cry

It was definitely better than the 2nd one!!!  TONS better.

But it still sucked.  Perhaps I just had such high hopes for the Transformers Movie franchise from the beginning.  I was hoping for a well thought out plot and a darker - more adult type of movie but all three seem like nothing more than sell-out films to capitalize on the concept.

I guess it worked. <shrug>

Cartoon network had awesome shows 4-5 years ago, Disney channel had good shows, almost every channel had something good on it, then all this new age shiz came and ruined everything. I can't even watch Lilo and Stitch anymore cause its blocked due to copyright yet no where to be seen  :cry :cry :cry

If you guys want a movie that's not lame and predictable, might I recommend Mr Smith Goes to Washington or Casablanca?

Seriously, what are you guys expecting to see when you go to a movie these days? ESPECIALLY a TRANSFORMERS movie?

Yeeeesh! Just enjoy the experience! Live life and all that junk!

I didnt like it. I thought it was all eye candy and no backbone.

I found Battle LA MORE wholesome than this movie.

Was a good movie. This was one of those rare times when the 3rd movie is better than the 1st.

Being it is based on kids toys??   haha

Yes you make a great point but when I heard news about them making a Transformers movie (back when they were making the first one) I was hoping that it would be written with my generation in mind.. you know us 80's kids who grew up playing with transformers and watching the cartoons.  I don't think today's (or even yesterday's) generation even knew what Transformers were until that movie came out.  I hoped that it would be targeted towards adults in their late 20s/early 30s and made into a more serious kind of film.  It could have been a truly epic film had they decided to go that route.

Instead they decided to make a movie for today's kids that would make them think that it is an adult film.  I suppose there is a lot more money to be made there (with merchandising and all that) and also helped to jump start the sales of transformers toys again.  It makes sense definitely.. I was just hoping for something more mature.  I guess in a way I'm getting tired of walking out of a movie theater with a lower IQ than what I walked in with... that's kind of how I feel after watching these transformers movies.
