Baytown - Allied Message
« on: July 09, 2011, 12:17:56 AM »
I have never been so motivated as I am tonight as a CiC.  That was one impressive night.  I received a lot of kudos from many of you but understand that it was not me.  You all ran with the ball.  I want you all to take pride in your professionalism, planning, and ability tonight.  I cannot and will not take credit in any way for tonights mission.  This was all your doing.  From the COs and planners, to the sticks.  That was all you!!!  Well friggin done Allied Forces.  I am proud to have been CiC for this one but the credit is all yours.

Nice job SlipKnt

I havn't a clue what the rest of Allied Team did...but I can speak to a single unit within its structure...the LCA

I was graciously allowed the opportunity to fly with HighTone's group tonight in the prosecution of Airfield 142 assets.

The LCA flew 38's and 24's and accomplished their mission and objectives.

They did it with professionalism, honor and integrity.

Invariably...when I get to fly an FSO with HighTone's crew...I always walk away with a smile.

Tonight was no exception.

Salute LCA

Oneway

edit: Give the LCA a bomber slot again next go Baytown  :P

Outstanding job Slip!   Unfortunately... as you know... I lost all voice comms on take off.  So I was only getting bits and pieces of what was going on.  But what I was able to keep up with, I saw that you pulled this frame off perfectly.  A big  :salute to you sir... as always, it is an honor to fly with you.

Excellent job of coordinating and stating mission objectives/briefing SlipKnot! Of course we had exceptional escort in tuk151 & the WD40's. "Charlie" broke thier backs at 139 & 142, well planned "...Leave not a hanger standing..." was the order!
Well Done!

I had fun dragging 4-5 baddies to the deck and 10 miles away from the action at A130, and making them waste most of their ammo before they finally took the wing off my Jug.  :joystick: :airplane:

Chiming in a little late.

Good job, SlipKnot.  I'm sure your post-mission refreshment tasted as good as mine did.
