View Ally's Plane Type AND Name
« on: August 01, 2011, 10:02:37 PM »
Possible if we could view both our friendlies name AND their plane types? Would be much more convenient instead of cycling through alt + i everytime. Just add another cycle to alt + i for people who like it the way it is now.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

My dear fellow, it seems that you are too lazy to use proper grammatical syntax to the point of making you look like a scoundrel.

So we'd have one line for distance, one line for name, and another line for type of plane? I think that would clutter the screen too much.

I wouldn't use it, but would support it as an option if people wanted to.  I think it would make the screen too busy.

I have that command mapped to my joystick, so if I see a friendly in trouble or am in the middle of a furball and a friendly is coming to clear me I can tailor my response to what he's flying.

Exactly, but make it an option so people can choose what setting they prefer.

I like it.. +1.. Customizable even! We can now finally change text size in the text buffer.. If you could change size of icons, minimal clutter. it's just silly that the information is available, but you have to have to toggle thru keypresses or button presses to see it.. So it's not a gameplay thing, just a good wish.

Ah
Well as Wiley said, I would not use it but I bet there are people who would. So +1.
