Leviathn aka "Dead man flying"
« on: August 02, 2011, 01:19:20 AM »
:headscratch: Why does he not fly anymore yet posts on this BBS regularly?

Or does he fly under a new name?
 :huh Hymi, 1TS420, ?

I watched his films on training BBS forum and he is very good.  Some have told me he may have been the best Spitfire pilot.  I do not know, but want to find out more.  :)

:old: It helps to know more about the flying skills and current status of one's fighter pilot heros.

Once you learn how to ride a bike especially if it takes a lot of time to do it well, it seems that it would be very hard to unlearn that skill.  :headscratch:

I did read that he listened to Vox earlier this year so he likely has an ID.

meh...  levi always had a fondness for virtual dolls.... you can find him playing with eleves and special ops.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

He doesn't play WoW anymore.

A long time ago in AW, he was practically unbeatable in the 38 as well.

Why does he stick around?  He's made a lot of friends over the past 16-17 years while playing these games and is always welcome in a house that he helped build.

I'd been playing WW2 air combat sims since I worked for Kesmai in the mid-1990s (around 1996, during the AW for Windows era on AOL/CompuServe).  I stopped playing regularly maybe 3-4 years ago, and at that point I'd put in a good dozen years or so.

After awhile you just kind of get tired of doing the same thing over and over and over again.  That's not a bash against Aces High in any way - more like a compliment when you consider that a game like WoW, for all of its bells and whistles, couldn't keep my interest for 1/3rd the time that AW/AH did.

I post here because Aces High is home to countless friends I've made over the years.  I enjoy this community and the folks in it, and I love the game even if I don't really have the drive to play it these days.  Could that change?  Sure, but I don't envision it in the foreseeable future.

I was going to say... Hymee is no better than the average Joe, his only crutch is the gay16 his system defaults to (rumor has it his hanger has no other aircraft).

Some people really know a certain aircraft.  The best example is Greebo, I've found no one that can handle an particular aircraft as well as he can make that F6F dance.

Levi I just wish you would do training again, I don't get to play like I did when AH first started and I could really use some RE training,,,

If Leviathn is smart which I know he is, then he will never fly under that name again.  It is immortalized, and there is nothing he can ever do again to touch a flame to the reputation he has built since he quit.

Best bet is to start a new Aces High character, which I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already.  :airplane:
