No, it’s great to have another dimension on a past time and be a bit of a social animal in a hobby that, for the most part, is pretty egocentric.
I get to see differing views on things, wonder at the insight of some laugh at the ignorance of others and try and respect everyone in between. I see the views of those I fly against, the insight of those I fly with and the opinions of those I’ve never met.
It’s a good way to get a feel of what’s happening in the game and keep note of tactics and styles.
I can also shut the office door at work and pretend to be doing something very important, but really nothing to make the rich richer.
The only annoying this is that I can’t use really bad language like the Prawns Forum – that should be fixed.
